F.A.Q.

What classes do you offer?

We offer weekly salsa and bachata classes. Please see our Calendar page for the most up-to-date schedule.

Where are your classes located?

We are happy to announce that we are now teaching at our new studio, located at 125 S. Hydraulic Ave., Wichita, KS.

Do I need to bring a partner?

No, you do not need to bring a partner to class since we rotate during the partner-work section of class.

Do I have to rotate if I come with my own partner?

If you prefer to stay with your partner during class, you are not required to rotate. Please be sure to inform your instructor prior to class if this is the case.

What should I wear to class?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely. Most students wear workout clothes, but some prefer to dance in jeans and a comfortable top.

To protect the floors, we ask that you do not wear black-soled or dirty shoes. For men, sneakers or casual non-marking shoes will work. For ladies, I recommend starting in flat shoes. I do not recommend wearing high heels on the first day of class. As a rule of thumb, if you cannot comfortably move in your heels for an hour without getting blisters or straining your feet, do not wear them to class!

Most importantly, please wear deodorant and use chewing gum or mints to have fresh breath. We will provide mints at the studio, but brushing your teeth before class is highly recommended and appreciated. Always wash or sanitize your hands at the studio before and after class. While masks are not required, you may use them at your own discretion.

How do I sign up for classes?

You must register in advance for any of the 6-week progressive courses here. However, you may drop-in and pay at the door for our non-progressive courses, such as Bachata and Intermediate Salsa.
